Blog #3: Witch and Wizard Pages 175-314

This part of the book starts off with Wisty and Whit getting out of the Shadowland and into Freeland. While in Freeland Whit and Wisty meet a group of kids who are hiding from the New Order. These kids tell Whit and Wisty that there was a prophecy that said Whit and Wisty would come and help rescue people from the New Order. At first Whit and Wisty tell the group that they want to find their parents before they rescue people from the New Order. After a while Wisty and Whit finally decide to help the group because the group told Whit and Wisty that the New order had taken their parents. later on in the book you find out that Whit and Wisty were lied to and that their parents weren't actually being held captive by the New Order. in the end Wisty ends up freeing the people being held captive by the New Order by setting off the fire alarms. Wisty did this by setting herself on fire. After this incident Wisty and Whit encounter the One Who is the One. During this encounter the One Who is the One says a lot of important things. For example, the One Who is the One tells Wisty and Whit that there is another longer prophecy. The book ends with the same scene from the beginning of the book. This means that the book ends with Wisty, Whit, and their parents standing on an execution platform waiting to be hung for being witches and wizards.

This part of the book is important because you get to see how Wisty and Whit's powers have grown. This part is also important because it shows how the Overworld has changed. The Overworld has changed because the New Order has almost completely taken over the Overworld. In the end, I thought this book was amazing. This is because it was never  boring, not even when I first started reading it. Another thing I liked about this book is that the book has short chapters. This is good because it helps the book move faster. Finally, I liked this book because it was always moving. This is because there was always something new happening in the book. Therefore, the book Witch and Wizard by James Patterson was a fantastic book.
