Blog #3: To All the Boys I've Loved Before Chapters 49-72

In the last portion of the book, you will finally get to know whether the two characters live happily ever after or if things turn out to be a dud. We last left off with Lara Jean and Peter getting into a big fight. Lara Jean had distanced herself from him over break Josh but because he is not standing up to everyone about the rumors. Kitty invites Peter over, even though Lara Jean did not want him to be there with her family. Josh gets into a big fight with Peter over how he has been treating Lara Jean. Josh has been telling her since the beginning that Peter is bad for her but she has not listened. Margot, her older sister, is back from college in Scotland. While Josh and Peter are fighting, it comes out that Josh tried to kiss Lara Jean. Margot had no idea, she was in complete shock of the situation and what she had heard. Margot runs to her room while Lara Jean is trying to apologize to her but she does not want to hear it. Lara Jean talks to her dad about what happened and Margot is standing in the doorway as she is explaining to her dad what had happened. Margot overheard what she was saying and forgave her because she knew Lara Jean would not do anything to intentionally hurt Margot. All three sisters are in the room now and Lara Jean says that she still misses Peter instead of Josh, despite everything that had happened. Kitty then admits that she is the one who sent out the letters. She was mad at Lara Jean so she sent the letters out to get back at her. After talking to Kitty she realized that she has to face her fears of saying goodbye to Peter. Even though she will be sad, it is the right thing to do. She then starts to write him a letter, fro real this time, to tell him how she really feels.
