Hunger games 2nd blog

In chapters 3 through 9, Katniss and Peeta are on their way to the capitol. Katniss throws cookies out the window that were given to her by Peetas dad and they land in a field of dandelions. That makes her remember when she first started providing for her family but hunting and scavenging. On the train both katniss and peeta get upset at haymitch. He is their advisor but he is a drunk. He tells them he will advise them is they don’t interfere with his drinking. After arriving at the capitol their stylist makes them outfits that make them look on fire. He calls katniss the girl on fire. When the crowd sees they love them and they instantly become the highlight of all the kids competing in the games. Katniss is given a room in the training center and it surprises her. It’s bigger then her house and is very fancy. Katniss and peeta are then go to dinner with their stylist and advisor and see a server that Katniss has seen before. They tell her the young girl is a criminal and had her tongue cut out. Katniss saw that young girl captured by people on a hovercraft.

These chapters show how Katniss and Peeta are reacting to the capital and all the attention. The people of the capital grow to love the two from district 12. I think katniss is starting to see how wrong things are and how bad the capitol is but Peeta wants the wealthy people to like him so he has better chances in the games.
