In this part of the book Wes's team is starting to do good,  they are on a winning strict and they are in the playoffs.  Wes and Dinero are starting to click and are staring to become closer on and off the basketball court.  Dinero is starting to be a team player and instead of caring how much points he has each game is is worrying about winning the game.  Which is improving his teams play.  They have won the last couple games they played and they are going into the play offs feeling good.  At home Wes and his father are staring to talk more again, and his dad is starting to not drink as much and control his drinking problem.  Wes's father had started going to his games more and cheering him on, and Wes started playing better because of it.  Wes's team ended up winning there teams championship  and wes and dinero ended up becoming close friends.
